Back in 1981, a Dr. Randal Bradshaw and his partner decided to launch a small veterinary hospital in the city of Seven Hills, in a little shopping center called Waterlick Plaza.

In over 40 years of calling Lynchburg, VA home, Dr. Bradshaw moved out of the little shopping center and grew Seven Hills Animal Hospital into one of the largest and most trusted veterinary hospitals in the region.

Our dedicated and caring staff love animals almost to a fault. We only hire people who want to work in this industry and want to have a deep connection with the pets for which they care. We’ve had so many staff members move on to become veterinarians, we lost count. A couple of these even came back to work here including Dr. Sandra Tall who has been here since the 80s.

In 2025, all our doctors officially retired, but instead of shutting the doors, we decided to scale back the practice to focus on wellness and preventive care for healthy pets and all of our doctors still come in each week to provide these services.

This has allowed our clients to still have access to the incredibly experienced and caring staff, to receive the excellent care they’re used to, and at reasonable prices compared to full-service clinics.
